Editorial policy
How we write and check every page on CRS Meter, and a log of the changes we make when IRCC changes its rules.
Sources
We only use primary sources: canada.ca pages from IRCC, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations and IRCC’s published data. Each page lists the exact pages it relies on and the date we last checked them.
Checks
- Numbers are copied from the source, then re-checked against it before publishing.
- Calculator changes need passing tests.
- When IRCC announces a change we update the affected pages and add an entry below.
Independence
No immigration firm pays for placement or wording on this site.
Corrections
Found a mistake? Email [email protected] with the page and the canada.ca source. We fix confirmed errors and note them here.
